Pucon – Lago Pirihueico – San Martin – Pucon

Day 1

We will depart from Hotel Antumalal towards Lake Panguipulli , one of the biggest and maybe the most beautiful of the 7 lakes, were our adventure begins. With its wonderful beaches, huge cliffs and probably the prettiest roses throughout the city in summer. We'll see the city church of Swiss architecture and German bells; build by Capuchine monks in 1947.

Continuing with our adventure towards Lake Pirihueico we'll take a look to the impressive Choshuenco and Mocho Volcanoes, to arrive to Huilo Huilo waterfalls.

These amazing 121ft volcanic waterfalls are surrounded by ferns and humid forest.

From Huilo Huilo we will reach Puerto Fuy and on to our ferry :Through this amazing 90 min lake-crossing to Puerto Pirihueico we will be surrounded by an impenetrable & cold rain-forest with string waterfalls of the Chilean/Argentine Patagonia.

After the lake-crossing our trip continues to Argentina . Going down from the Andes the landscape changes as we enter the Lanin National Park , giving way to the high mountain Cypress trees that extend all the way through San Martin de Los Andes and surrounding Lacar Lake .

Founded in 1898 as a harbor for the wood industry San Martin de los Andes is today a pretty and small ski town beautifully embraced by reforested pine trees similar to the American North West. We'll enjoy a Bife de Chorizo and a good bottle of wine to rest of our journey full of adventures and recover for the next day.

We'll visit the town through the main streets and the main square to pick up some souvenirs. After lunch our trip goes to Junin de los Andes , going through the Pampa a wild and vast land with native flora & fauna

To get back to Chile we´ll cross The Andes , surrounded by the most beautiful araucarias: millennial trees of the dinosaur era that stand on ward on the border of the road watching time go by. The vegetation is awesome & unique in Chile .

Arriving to Currarehue, the first town in the Chilean side of the Andes we'll learn more of the Araucanos: Indians of this region, visiting the Mapuche Museum that explains the way of living and their ancestral culture

On the sun set, We´ll end the day in our Hotel, were Restaurant Parque Antumalal will be waiting for us with a good Cran Sour to talk about our amazing adventure.

• The rate is US$ 598 per person, with a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 3 to preserve the comfort.

• The price includes all transportation in a van totally equipped with a driver. The refreshments and snacks are included.

• The hotel in San Martin is not included.

• The driver is bilingual, with full knowledge of the area and surrounding.
